PREAMBLE :

• Familiarize the students in preparation of documents and presentations with office automation tools.
• Working with Files – Creating and opening documents. Saving documents, Renaming documents, working on multiple documents.
• Modifying a Worksheet – Moving through cells, adding worksheets, rows and columns. Resizing rows and columns selecting cells . Moving and copying, Freezing panes .
• Working with Slides – Insert a New slides, Applying a design template, Changing slide layouts, Reordering slides, hide slides , Create a custom slide.

COURSE NAME: Dyeing and production of consumer products

DURATION: 3 MONTHS

Dyes are used primarily in the production of consumer products, including paints, textiles, printing inks, paper, and plastics. They add color and patterns to materials. Natural dyes extracted from vegetables, fruit and flowers to color fabrics and other materials. These dyes were replaced by chemical dyes that bond with the fabric, providing and retaining richer color throughout washing and exposure.

OBJECTIVES

• It is a unique course designed to meet the needs of the textile industry by educating the world about the science behind coloration processes.
• This course will also teach how to make beautiful and natural soap.
• It also teaches how to make soap oil, fabric conditioner, phenyl, and Dettol in low budget.

Duration: 3 MONTHS

Now a day, a degree only is not enough for the student’s future. So, our department offered short term course. The duration of the course is 3 months. Fees for the course is Rs. 1500/- per student.

DURATION: 3 Months

Silambam is a popular variant of martial arts which is performed with the aid of some specific weapons, primarily with bamboo sticks. It is widely performed in the regions of Tamil Nadu (India) which is also the birthplace of the game, where it emerged in around 1000 years BCE. The Tamil Sangam literature has the early records of Silambam. 

The first stages of Silambam practice are meant to provide a foundation for fighting, and also preparatory body conditioning. This includes improving flexibility, agility, and hand-eye coordination, kinaesthetic awareness, balance, strength and speed, muscular and cardiovascular stamina.
