To demonstrate knowledge of selected topic from quantum mechanics, electro- magnetism, nuclear physics, thermal physics, mathematical concept and be able to apply this knowledge to analyze a broad range of physical phenomena.

Offers courses to the choice of the students (a) B.Sc Physics students study two papers.
Make the students to verify some of the Experimental calculation by C++ programme.
The course would enable the students to be technically qualified in various skills like Laboratory skills which include observation and calculation, Electrical and Electronic circuit designing and making skills, Problem solving skills and Programming skills. After completing the UG degree in Physics they can pursue their master degree not only in the same field but also in interdisciplinary fields like Astrophysics, Bio-Physics, Geo-Physics, Environmental physics, Chemical Physics, Medical Physics etc.
