RULES AND REGULATIONS

Art from waste

  • Team shall consist of two members only.
  • Participants will be given 30 minutes to show their creativity.
  • No ready or semi – finished model or matter would be accepted from participated in competition.

 

 Rangoli 

  • Team shall consist of two members only.
  • Only colors and flowers can be used for making rangoli.
  • The participants will be given 30 minutes for making rangoli.
  • Topic will be given on the spot

 

 Classical Dance  

  • 6 participants
  • Maximum allowed time – 5 min
  • The music should be provided in a pen drive prior to the event.

Face painting  

  • Theme: SAVE NATURE
  • Team shall consist of two members only.
  • Maximum allowed time – 45 minutes
  • Colors and brushes to be arranged by the participants themselves.

Short Film

            Theme:செல்லுக்குள் சிறை.

  • Single registration has to be done in the name of the cameraman and the leader
  • Maximum allowed time – 7 min

 

Ad-Mad 

  • Minimum 3, Maximum 5 actors allowed per team.
  • The presentation can be either in Tamil or English
  • Maximum allowed time – 5 min
  • Topic will be given on the spot

Vegetable carving

  • Team shall consist of two members only
  • The contestant will have 30 minutes to complete the model.
  • All pieces are to be made of entirely edible food. ( No plastic supports in frame )

 

Folk Dance

  • 6 participants
  • Maximum allowed time – 5 min
  • The music should be provided in a pen drive prior to the event.

 

Mime  

  • Theme: Women’s Empowerment
  • Number of participants: 5
  • Maximum allowed time – 5 min
  • Participants can use background music.

 

 

General Instruction:

  • Registration fee is Rs.200 per participant
  • Participants should bring their ID card.
  • A staff member must accompany the participants.
  • Participants can participate in more than one competition provided it’s not scheduled at the same time
  • Only one team from each college is allowed to participate in each event
  • Participants are required to provide their own costumes, props, sound effects and make-up for their respective event.
  • Refreshment and Lunch will be provided.
  • Participant certificate, winners prize with over all shield for the best college will be given
