The main objective of the course is to make the students to realize the relationship between man and universe. This course provides them the basic knowledge in physics by which they enhance the quantitative and analytical skills. During the three years course period, the students can understand the core concepts in the field like properties of matter, sound, optics, electricity, solid state physics, quantum mechanics, nuclear physics etc. And, simultaneously they gain laboratory skills through the practicals prescribed in this curriculum and get hands on training in different experiments in the fields like optics, electricity, magnetism, electronics etc. They also learn computer programming in C++ language and can be well versed in both theory and practical.
Duration : 3 Years [Divided into 6 semesters.]
Eligibility : +2, Ranking based on marks in Part III out of 800.
