BA Tamil syllabus is designed for three years which is offered for six semesters. The program aims at providing good knowledge of the history and culture of the Tamil language. BA Tamil course has both core and elective papers. Some of the common Tamil subjects are Journalism, Modern Literature, Women’s studies, Prose and Grammar. It provides insights into various literary styles, periods, genres of the Tamil language. It is also tuned to enhance the competitive language skills of the students.
